New Binary Press publishes Montfort & Strickland

New Binary Press is delighted to announce the publication of two new digital poems by Nick Montfort and Stephanie Strickland. The Press has published Montfort’s Round, as well as Duels — Duets, a collaboration between the authors.

Nick Montfort is Associate Professor of Digital Media at MIT and president of the Electronic Literature Organization. His books of poetry are Riddle & Bind and (with William Gillespie) 2002. Four of his books have been published by the MIT Press; the latest of these, a 10-author collaboration, is 10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)); : GOTO 10.

Stephanie Strickland has published seven books of print poetry, and has collaborated on eight electronic poems. She co-edited the Electronic Literature Collection Volume 1, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Electronic Literature Organization. Her prize-winning volume from Penguin, V: WaveSon.nets / Losing L’una, will appear in a new edition with accompanying app for mobile devices from SpringGun in 2014.
